Field Notes Directories is operated by Field Notes Directories. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Forms you send us. If you claim a listing, report a correction or contact us, we keep what you typed (name, email, phone, message) to respond and to verify listing ownership.
• Basic usage. We count page views and taps on phone and website links per listing, so businesses can see how often people contact them. We don't store your IP address with these counts.
• Advertising and analytics partners. When ads are shown, third-party vendors including Google use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads based on those visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in regions that require consent are asked before personalized ads are shown.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information. We don't pass your contact details to a business unless you ask us to.

Business information

Listings are built from public information about businesses (name, address, phone, website and what the business publishes on its own site). Businesses can correct or remove their listing from the For businesses page.
